When you step up to a higher level, what you paid in the last 12 months for lower-level courses inside the bigger course comes off its price, in proportion to how much of each is inside it, whichever topic it's from. Courses at the same or a lower level don't give credit against each other. A Focus course or above always costs at least £15. Read the full terms

Overview and Outcomes.
Overview
This module asks why the same five people can be a group under one manager and a team under another. It uses Katzenbach and Smith's conditions for a real team, Tuckman's stages and regression after change, Amazon's two-pizza teams, Lencioni's five dysfunctions and Alan Willett's approach to the difficult performer, so you can diagnose what kind of team you have and where its problems really start.
What you'll develop
In this Bitesize, you will develop the ability to:
- Distinguish a group from a team using Katzenbach and Smith's conditions, and judge whether the work in front of you actually needs a team.
- Identify where a team sits in Tuckman's stages and where it is failing in Lencioni's five dysfunctions, so that you start the fix at the right level.
- Plan a specific, evidenced and time-bound conversation with a difficult performer, and recognise when the issue should be escalated.
